On Wednesday 26 February 2020
Channel 5 refreshed the branding of it's main channel including
new idents (featuring the actual logo for the first time in four
years). The idents and surrounding presentation feature an
animated five logo in various colours.
From the 19 March 2020, following the channel winning the Royal
Television Society award for Channel of the Year 2020, the idents
were edited, skipping the first 'scene' (for want of better
word) of the ident and the text "Broadcast Channel of the Year
2020" and "Royal Television Society Channel of the Year 2020"
appearing over the end of the ident. The idents on this page are
